Overview

Hands Lifting Hearts Initiatives Society runs community programs across fatherhood, motherhood, parenting, and workplace wellbeing. I designed event flyers and social graphics to promote their sessions and campaigns — each one built to communicate a program clearly and pull people in to register.

My Role

Social media and flyer designer. I designed the promotional graphics working within their brand; the goal was clear, engaging event promotion that stayed consistent across a range of programs and partners.

The work / approach

The set spans distinct programs — The Fatherhood Circle, The Motherhood Circle, parenting journeys, wellbeing workshops, a physicians' retreat — each with its own tone but a shared structure: bold headline, clear "what to expect," and the practical details (date, time, venue, registration) surfaced so nothing gets lost. The challenge with event design is information hierarchy: a lot of detail — speakers, pricing, dates, QR codes, partner logos — has to stay scannable. That's the actual skill on show here.

Design notes

Event and program design lives or dies on clarity — the reader needs the what, when, where, and how-to-register in seconds. I leaned on strong headlines, consistent detail blocks, and warm, real photography to keep each flyer both informative and inviting.
